Re: not booting for a Total Nubie to NEMS Linux

At the time, the best thing to do would be go with the 1.6 Beta. When 1.5.2 came out, the current revision of Pi 4 8 GB didn't exist. It can be "updated" to support it (I've seen lots of chatter in the forums and Discord) but since 1.6 Beta is already available to Patrons and is built for ...

Re: Problems with HTML rendering in email

Excellent observation, thank you.

As you can see here the reference to that stylesheet was included in the original application.

I have now removed it. The update will be part of the NEMS Linux 1.6 release.

Cheers!

Re: NEMS image not downloadable

From #announcements on our Discord server: ----- Our download servers are hosted in Canada and unfortunately are therefor affected by the Nationwide internet outage. Once Canada has its services restored one of my first action items will be to move our data center entirely to California. Hang tight ...

Re: Warning Light Issues

@riccardo, what do you mean "I just plugged it directly on the GPIO"? You would need to connect the GPIO to 5V relays in order to switch the state of the power to the lights (which are likely 12 or 24V). You wouldn't want to connect the lights directly to the GPIO. Though you also state yo...

Re: Telegram notifications for service check_ssh not working

Thank you for the detailed assessment. Just note that having modified the LUA code directly, you may lose your changes since NEMS will overwrite them during an update. What I'd love to see is your support.nems file when experiencing the problem. That way I can create a proper patch for your scenario...

Re: poe hat fan control

Thanks for posting the fix you implemented. When Marshman brought the thread to my attention yesterday, I ordered a PoE hat and injector so I could do testing and implement a fix. Those will arrive this coming week, so I'll dig into it in the coming days and will integrate a permanent fix in NEMS Li...

Re: mrtg not installed yet on NEMS Linux 1.5

MRTG support is part of the rolling release, so it is not included with the initial install, but will auto-install itself during the normal update process. If you want to force it, the correct command is sudo nems-quickfix That should take a very long time. Once complete, let me know if it's still n...

Re: anyway to change dashboard web port?

You should not be opening your NEMS Server to the world.

Knowing this, why would you need to change the port?
