Re: Failed to get host-alive check for host
FWIW, I just had this issue restoring a 1.5 backup to a 1.5.2 installation. Additionally, I think there's something to the OS definitions. I noticed that all of my OS definitions were lost during the restoration, which implies they were either not backed up, or not restored. Update: Appears all OS d...

RE: Adding multiple networks for a single host
My suggestion for this would be to treat each IP as a new "host". That way you can leverage the existing services out-of-box and it will accomplish the goal you're looking to achieve. You could just name the primary as 'hostname' with subsequent IP addresses for 'hostname' named after the ...

RE: Check Printer toner when is low
I'm doing this successfully in NEMS using check_snmp_printer: https://res.cloudinary.com/robpickering/image/upload/v1578239598/Check_Printer_dznflr.png I cannot remember if I installed this myself or if it was part of the NEMS distro, you'll have to look... That said, this is where you can pull it, ...

RE: NEMS Upgrade 1.5 to 1.5.1
Sorry for disappearing, but I wanted to get an answer to everyone...
You CANNOT upgrade from 1.5 to 1.5.1 via the rolling upgrade (nems-upgrade).
1.5.1 can only be upgraded to by backing up, re-flashing the OS to the SD card, and restoring the backup.

RE: NEMS Upgrade 1.5 to 1.5.1
FYI, I chatted with Robbie a bit after I submitted an Issue on his Github repository for NEMS.
He's working on a fix.
You can follow it here: https://github.com/Cat5TV/nems-migrator/issues/1

RE: New Setup Issues
You will most likely need to log into the system over SSH in order to perform disk operations. Once logged in using your NEMS username/password, you can then 'sudo su -' and establish a 'root' login (fully privileged). From there following a tutorial like this one should allow you to partition, crea...

RE: NEMS Upgrade 1.5 to 1.5.1
Okay everyone...since Robbie appears to be AWOL, I'm digging into this issue... I suspect that 1.5 is the last version of NEMS, regardless of what we're being told in NEMS Upgrade. The root cause of the issue we're having is that while the system is told the latest upgrade available is 1.5.1, the up...

RE: NEMS Upgrade 1.5 to 1.5.1
So, since this has been languishing...I started looking into some things... I noticed that I hadn't rebooted since the 1.5.1 upgrade was released. So, I rebooted NEMS. After coming back up I ran nems-upgrade and it looked like it was upgrading, it wasn't... Same issue still. I then ran apt-get upda...

RE: NEMS Upgrade 1.5 to 1.5.1
Following --
Same problem here. Login screen says I'm at 1.5 and 1.5.1 is available.
In the GUI it announces 1.5.1 as available.
Running nems-upgrade says there are no upgrades available.

RE: nrpe linux monitoring ssl issue
I solved this problem in my installation. The check_nrpe executable on NEMS at the time of this writing is version 3.2.1. It does in fact have SSL compiled into it: root@nems:~# /usr/lib/nagios/plugins/check_nrpe --help NRPE Plugin for Nagios Version: 3.2.1 Copyright (c) 2009-2017 Nagios Enterprises...
