Tactical Dashboard missing

I just had to rebuild my NEMS pi from backup - it ate the SD card. Still on version 1.5.1 For the most part all is well, but from the main NEMS screen the tactical dashboard produces a broken link. I used that alot - and really miss it. I seem to recall it was an on-the-fly add on, so I am guessing ...

Re: My Raspberrys all take a break at the same time

Take very careful look at your setup, and make sure you are actually monitoring things on each host. I seem to recall a while back that I had attached some local monitors, to some remote hosts. the stats i was getting were actually all from the NEMS host, although they all appeared to be reported fr...

NEMS http monitor

The http monitor nems is running on itself (I think this was a pre-configured check) is firing quite a bit. A dozen or two times per day. It tends to clear itself right up, but is really cluttering up the dashboard and my metrics. Any thoughts as to why this might be unhappy with itself? My load see...

Re: Migrating to 1.52

So I have the temperature running in 1.5.1. I'm kinda on hold for 1.5.2 because of the things that do not migrate over. A couple of them are kinda foundational, so they affect alot of other things. I'm not sure I get a TON of other benefit. I am sure I can reconstruct the things that don;t move, but...

Re: Failed to get host-alive check for host

To follow up one more level. Check and see what host-preset is being used for the host where you are getting the error. If there isn't one, select one. If there is one, then find that in the host-presets menu. Make sure it has a good "host alive check" filled in. I don;t remember that the ...

Re: Failed to get host-alive check for host

I don't know if it is related, but I got the same error after my 1.52 upgrade. I found it was related to new host-presets and O/Ses I had defined not moving over. If you don;t have the old config, that might be hard to determine for sure. Mine all ended up defaulting to "linux" for the O/S...

Migrating to 1.52

Just did a quick upgrade to 1.52 No errors, but I had defined new Host-Presets and a couple new O/S templates and those did not seem to move over. The hosts that referenced them got some defaults that did not result in a config that could be generated. I don't know if that is expected behavior, and ...

Curiosity with HTTP service monitor and NEMS server

Greetings fellow nems-nerds So, this falls into the category of things that make you say "Huh?". Might be obvious to someone else. Not to me. I have the http monitor on my nems server monitoring itself. I think it comes pre-configured there in the image, but I am not sure. Works great. I a...
