RE: A couple of email items
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Busy time. For the issue of the sendemail file rights, I think I know what happened. I was not using the file on my old system (it did not exist). So maybe it was deleted by the restore? I know it did not exist until I ran the email test code with SUDO...

A couple of email items
I noticed two issues when testing email on version 1.3. Maybe it is me, but I found: 1) The logging of the email was not working because Nagios did not apparently have sufficient rights to the /var/log/sendemail file. RE: Nagios Core - permissions
There is joy in Mudville, the might Robbie hit a home run...

I don't think so. Ran the nems-init and created the user account.
Rebooted.
logged in using the created account.
Then ran the nems-restore.

NConf OS defintions migration
In version 1.2.3 I modified the NConf OS definitions to change the images used and added a couple of OS definitions to for use with my firewall and switches. It would be useful to have the OS definitions be part of the migration to avoid having to recreate manually on the backend of the migration.

Nagios Core - permissions
I have version 1.3 up and running and migrated a version 1.2.3 config and have found what I think may be an issue. In Nagios Core the following links return an error message of “it appears you do not have permission to view…”. A screen shot is attached. The following links seem to be involved: 1)N...

FIXED - NAGIOS Core context help not found.
In NAGIOS core the context help link (small ? on each web page) returns a browser 404 error when clicked. An example is: http://<IP address>/nagios3/contexthelp/B1.html
