Re: Plugin request check_dht22

I have finished coding DHTxx sensor support for NEMS Linux 1.6. It is now fully supported as per https://docs.nemslinux.com/hardware/dht-sensors

Enjoy!

Re: NEMS from a beginners standpoint.

Hi Greg, Great post! Yeah, I'm not a fan of using WiFi for a NEMS Server. I provide it for folks who want to hide their NEMS Servers in obscure places without wiring, but it seems a little counter-intuitive to me, and could result in false notifications (eg., latency of WiFi or dropouts causing NEMS...

Re: Plugin request check_dht22

My sensors have arrived, and I've begun prototyping. https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/743539627855577088/745819758619918336/IMG_20200819_214050.jpg I don't have my resistors with me, so just a direct connection to the GPIO, but I have already pushed the build script to NEMS Linux 1.6, and am m...

Re: Monitoring Switches

Thanks so much! Yes, that'd be amazing to have some user contributions for SNMP docs, and would be a big help.

I also welcome (and covet) pictures of cool setups :) Hint, hint!

Have fun!

Cheers,
Robbie

Re: GUI for Mariadb on the Raspberry Pi

Thanks zinfra.

What do you mean by 'seems okay'? Do you mean you solved your issue?

Please confirm so I know if I'm to look through your support.nems or if you are already set.

Cheers.

Re: Monitoring Switches

Hi Michael, and welcome to NEMS Linux! SNMP is something that is fully supported, but not yet documented. I might suggest you jump on the NEMS Linux Discord Server and ask the community there, since I happen to know I've seen folks there talking about SNMP who know what they're doing. Of course, the...

Re: NEMS for Pine A64+

NEMS Linux is entirely headless. You access it via your browser, not a connected TV. Good luck, and have fun! PS - The new build, while still not giving TV display, fixes the original issue and also adds a ton of new features that didn't exist in v1.5. And now, back to work I go on getting 1.6 ready...

Re: NEMS for Pine A64+

Yes, definitely. Though you should also be able to access it at simply nems.local or if you genuinely need the IP, ping nems.local should resolve it for you. Not on your network though Marshman, since you have about a dozen (or more?) nems.local hosts :D haha! Thanks for the update. Glad it initiali...

Re: GUI for Mariadb on the Raspberry Pi

So you've created custom OS's and they're not getting imported? That's no problem; your Migrator backup has all your data - just hold onto the backup.nems file so you don't lose it. You still have your NEMS Server running where you pulled the backup.nems from? If yes, run a support.nems for me so I ...
