Re: Unable to perform fresh install on Pi4
Yeah; your first issue was that you actually removed the default locale, en_US.UTF-8. A simple reboot and you would have been fine since the locale would then have defaulted to GB. So leaving the US locale was a good idea. I should force that so users don't make that mistake :) Those are only warnin...

Re: Import to KVM
Hi corsairetc. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this looks like something that would be good to ask the KVM community. It sounds more like an issue with your KVM setup, not NEMS Linux itself. Maybe I misunderstand (please feel free to set me straight - haha!) but that's what it looks like. Good luck - h...

Re: NEMS TV not available in ova
Can you run a and let me know if it's working? This was a rolling update and should have come in automatically, but a forced nems-update should do it. If not, it is 100% working in NEMS Linux 1.6 which will have an OVA in early 2021.

Code: Select all
sudo nems-update

Re: Pine A64+ issue with monitoring engine not running
Great. Here's the info for anyone finding this later: rookieone pointed out an issue with the A64+ (and possibly other #pine64 boards) where it was mis-detecting the kernel headers and therefore unable to compile the updated socket, resulting in a failure to start Nagios Core. This has been fixed. T...

Re: Problems getting started
Depends which RPi it is. A Pi 4 should finish pretty quickly. Anything older will take progressively longer. A Pi Zero-2 would be dreadful, but usable (be patient, they're SUPER under-powered). If NEMS says it is updating, just let it sit in that state. When it finishes, it will continue. This will ...

Re: Notifications
btucker, which notifications are you seeing? The demo check commands that are included have the Admins contact group selected, so you might need to modify the services and advanced services accordingly in NEMS NConf. PS - Since you say you're using the virtual appliance I must assume you are a Patro...

Re: Internet speed test logging
How did you get NEMS Linux 1.6 since it's not even out of alpha yet?
