Re: Plugin check_AS400

Okay Charles... I have to say, you have me curious! Why? Are you saying you actually have some ancient AS400's you want to monitor? Who pays your electric bill? LOL

Let me know what you're needing this for... very curious.

Re: [Request] [Closed] Nems without Cloud

Cheers! Yeah, NEMS is always growing and evolving. Through support of its users, I am able to implement new and exciting features. What might not be available one day could possibly be available in the future.

NEMS Mesh will be a very exciting shift in the distro.

Cheers!

Re: NEMS VHD

Hi @jcalvo 1. Yes. As per the docs, "Migrator also makes it easy to transition from one platform to another. For example, having setup a NEMS Linux server on a Raspberry Pi 3, you can easily move to an ODROID-XU4 for an enormous performance boost." See https://docs.nemslinux.com/en/latest/...

Old docs are gone and replaced with new ones!

Well, the old Documentation wiki has been blasted. I wish there was an easy way to redirect old docs... but sadly, there isn't, because I've moved to restructured text. So I have to look at the big picture rather than the inconvenience of every link to the docs now becoming deadlinks. So jump over t...

Re: Error installing on Docker

Thanks dv1xqx. Docker support is pretty cool, but if you have used Docker you know it's a bit of a beast setting up the networking. So with that, I'd say to get up and running quickly, you're still gonna be best to go with one of the SBC options, or if you need something strong to very strong, the v...

Re: Available Check Commands.

Hi jcalvo, That link is dead since it's for the old docs. The new link, which is a bit more thorough (though not extensive) is here: https://docs.nemslinux.com/en/latest/check_commands/index.html As far as a list of check commands, you will find this in NEMS NConf. Just press "Show" next t...

Re: Getting nowhere

Hi eracerhead, You haven't configured your host(s) correctly. In particular, you've missed setting up the settings for the check schedule and notifications. I'd strongly recommend you go through the Getting Started Guide so you can learn the fundamentals of how to use NEMS Linux, and then jump on th...

Re: Error installing on Docker

Sorry for the confusion guys. Docker support is coming to NEMS Linux 1.6 (yet to be released) so the documentation is in the works, but it is not yet available. It'll be clearly listed as one of the options on the main web site when I release it. As you can see in your error output: Unable to find i...

Re: Error adding new hosts

Hey Gregorywest. Welcome to NEMS Linux! You need to set your check values in your Host for the ProCurve. I'd suggest you start with some exercises from the ODROID Magazine articles to give you a good knowledge base. You can also see an example, for example, here: https://docs.nemslinux.com/config/ne...
