Ability to monitor crypto currency hash rates on Nagios

Post by witchking86 »

I currently work for a company that monitors over 4000 data miners and I have implemented this amazing tool to monitor these and I think that it would awesome to be able to monitor hash rates within Nagios. I know there is a plugin for nagios to do this but not sure how to do that within NEMS.

Can you please share the Nagios plugin link in the exchange? I'll gladly have a look and see about porting it to NEMS for you.

Hello,

I love Nems, is a great project.

Here is the link to set of scripts that can be added to a nagios server to monitor antminer devices:

Right now, I am trying to apply these scripts into Nems.

Hi jcompad,
I checked this a while ago and it was a deadlink.. but it's still a deadlink even now in December... so unless you have a new link, I don't know how I can help. Tried searching for such a check, and couldn't find anything. I thought about writing something using the CoinMarketCap API, but their limits are so small. I kinda dig the idea of getting alerts if one of my cryptos drops or goes to the moon though.. that's kinda neat. Not really what NEMS is for, but easy enough to implement.

Unless you know of a way, we'll probably have to leave this for now. I can't see coding such a thing any time soon if it doesn't already exist.

Cheers!

Robbie
