Host Temperature Check(s)?

Robbie -- Now that I have a temperature probe on my NEMS RaspPi, I would like to monitor the temperature of my other hosts as well. I did some quick searching and came across this project on Github (https://github.com/jackbenny/check_temp) where @ghostctl wrote a `check_nrpe` function for checking CPU/MB temperature. Would it be possible to incorporate this into the build or the Linux host nrpe monitoring/deployment script?
(Obviously I can just hack it in for now but wanted your read on a more elegant, long-term solution.)
