Starting Nems NOOB

Hello i started today to  try NEMS, the install on the sd and boot on the Pi worked good.
The Pi is headless, the SSH to it works and i dit the nems-init.
The the problems for me begin with the rapi-config   set wifi on,and all paswords and ssid ,set locale,set vnc on.reboot , no wifi.
Then i go to open "https://nems.local" i cant as i am on a other machine so i do "https://192.168.178.40" that give a unable to connect. Next "http://192.168.178.40" that give a start page of apache2. so there i sit .in a idea i was thinking see if vnc install ,yes and TONS of  other things pfff. And no progress Think that is part as i dit not install lightDM so no desktop i gues.And the docs say nothing about remote headless . Not a totally noob using linux for years but get old And learning goes SLOW.
What options i have ?


Day 2 put in a network cable, and can connect to it with "http://192.168.178.39/" there i can use configuration IF the login would work. Looks like it forgot the login.
Other is that i get a big orange warning "warning: NEMS can`t connect to the update servers.Please make sure internet is properly configured for your NEMS server "
That rise the question can NEMS work without the internet ?
It supposed to run only on a local network.

Day 3
For some reason the wifi is still not working.
How to use nrpe is vague.To add the host is not written.
From 3 am to 5 am (local) the load rose to 5 times normal ?
How to remove Max and Percy ? Can`t find them.

Please read the installation documentation and follow the steps. I'd recommend you re-flash as you've done things that will have corrupted your deployment.

You should not be running raspi-config or activating WiFi. The only reason to do this would be on a Pi Zero where this is the only option. I suppose you could use WiFi if you truly need to, but I would highly recommend against this, especially as you are just learning how NEMS works.

You should definitely not be activating VNC nor installing lightDM.

Yes, NEMS Linux requires Internet connectivity.
