Hi,
I have nems 1.5 running on a RPI-3 and when is do an internet speetest I get
Ping = 116.104 ms Download = 38.12 Mbit/s Upload = 8.33 Mbit/s
When i do the speedtest on my laptop
Ping = 11 ms Download = 81.20 Mbit/s Upload = 14.60 Mbit/s
Why is the difference so big?
Kind regard Koen
speedtest returned values
RE: speedtest returned values
Hi,
I found out that the problem is related the the testserver (2554)
When i change the test server on my laptop i get the same results as with the RPI.
Now i have changed the testserver in the service and the returned values are much better.
Kind regards
Koen

RE: speedtest returned values
Well spotted. NEMS should automatically detect the closest server and update the values itself. The fact that you were seeing 2554 means you were using the default (my local server) so just that your board hadn't updated yet. Must be a new deployment?

RE: speedtest returned values
-- I take it back! Looks like you found a bug. The speedtest server is supposed to be set automatically. Instead, it's defaulting to my test server. I'm patching NEMS SST to fix this.

Re: speedtest returned values
So, I am also having this issue. I am updated to the most recent version of NEMS and all bug fixes are installed. Using speedtest.net, I am currently getting 12 ms ping, 203.69 download, and 36.87 upload. In Adagios from my NEMS appliance, I am showing 119.73 download, 24.18 upload, and 34.84 ms ping.
