Which Firewall on NEMS 1.5.2

Hello Guys,
I am having an issue on my network and I wasn't sure what was causing it. I have checked NEMS for running firewalls and I haven't found any. I tried firewalld and ufw so far? Would apparmor cause a device on the same network segment to not respond to ICMP Pings?
Just a little confused,
