Hi Robbie,
There is a Nagios plugin for Monitoring AS400 servers.

I would appreciate it , if it could be integrated.

Okay Charles... I have to say, you have me curious! Why? Are you saying you actually have some ancient AS400's you want to monitor? Who pays your electric bill? LOL
Let me know what you're needing this for... very curious.

Robbie,
Many of my clients still have AS400s doing mainframe batch printing on a weekly or even daily basis. They are still very much alive out there.

Re: Plugin check_AS400
Wow - amazing. They clearly did something right with the AS400. Astonishing shelf life.
So... I'm more than happy to include this. But I have a bit of a problem: There's no way I'm able to find a AS400 to test with.
So ... anyone with access to one (or multiple - haha!) care to be part of the beta testing? Would appreciate it a ton so I can get this working.
Thanks

Re: Plugin check_AS400
Hi Robbie,
I am happy to test against our AS400.
We have an old AS400 server, about 8 years old. It was the back end to our billing system up until about 18 months ago. The new billing system we use, migrated as much data as they could, but the system still has a lot of info that the new billing system doesn't yet.
Regards
Charles

Re: Plugin check_AS400
Hi Robbie,
I would also like to see the IBM i plugin made available to NEMS Linux. I have many IBM i (Used to be called AS/400) so very interested and will be a beta tester if required.
There are some plugins in the community edition but I cannot figure out how to install the plugins for NEMS Linux. They are available on the NAGIOS exchange site
https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... 00/details
https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/P ... in/details
I want to extend the plugins so need to install and test what they have to offer first.
Thanks in advance.
Chris..
